The popular licensed print company Mondo has begun announcing its plans for San Diego Comic-Con 2017. Its sought-after limited posters and amazing vinyl records generally create hysteria among fans and collectors when the “drops” (when the posters are available for purchase) are announced.
You can find Mondo at Booth #835 on the show floor. As always, Mondo will presumably tweet out when the items are available, so plan to keep them on your social media alerts, and to book it.
For now, let’s take a look at what Mondo is bringing to SDCC:
[UPDATE July 12]
Mashable shared several of Mondo’s upcoming San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, starting with a new poster for Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, from artist Sachin Teng. The 18″x24″ poster is a limited run of just 150 pieces, and will retail for $65.
Then we’ve got a Contra poster from artist Eric Powell, which is a limited edition of 225 and retails for $45.
To go along with the poster, there’s also a vinyl LP soundtrack which includes music from both the arcade and NES versions of the game. The vinyl itself features a red-orange-yellow color scheme, and it comes packaged in a slipcase with Powell’s art. It’s a limited run of 1,000, and will retail for $25.

[UPDATE July 3] According to Pitchfork, Mondo is spear-heading the first official vinyl release of John Williams’ 1975 soundtrack to Steven Spielberg’s Jaws – and they’re celebrating with a series of posters. One of the variants of the Mondo x Phantom City Creative poster will be available at San Diego Comic-Con – which you can find below, and you can also scope a look at the other two versions and the vinyl artwork on Pitchfork’s site.
[UPDATE June 21] Den of Geek has the exclusive on Mondo’s first San Diego Comic-Con exclusive, which celebrates experimental short film Rakka from Neill Blomkamp and starring Sigourney Weaver. Artist Matty Ryan Tobin created the piece, which will be available at the con.
