The Year of Star Trek continues at San Diego Comic-Con, with Quantum Mechanix Inc. (QMx) using the convention as a launching pad for their latest Captain James T. Kirk and Spock QMx Master Series of 1:6-scale articulated collectible figures.
Kirk and Spock feature authentically styled Star Trek: The Original Series uniforms with simulated leather boots and detailed 23rd century accessories, including phasers, communicators, Spock’s tricorder and Kirk’s clipboard. Both figures include multiple hands for a variety of action poses. The exclusive editions of the figures – Kirk comes equipped with a vintage-style 1:6 scale phaser rifle, and Spock comes with his Vulcan lute – will debut for sale at San Diego Comic-Con at QMx Booth #4145. Only a limited number per day will be available at SDCC.
Each figure is priced at $199.95.
They’ll also be available for regular release, with shipping later in the year, at qmxonline.com on June 23, at 10AM PT.
